The Dumfries & Galloway Guild of Spinners, Weavers and Dyers will be what’s known as the ‘Controller’ of the personal data you provide to us.
We use WordPress.com to host our website – they have published information on their compliance with GDPR.
We will collect personal information from you when you use our WordPress Contact form to enquire about our activities, register as a member with us or register for a workshop/course with us. This will include your name, email address and could include additional, non-personal information.
We need to know your basic personal data to provide you with a response to your enquiries. We will not collect any personal data from you that we do not need. Our use of this information
Your personal information will only be used to process your contact requests. All the personal data we process is processed by our Guild Committee as needed.
We will take all reasonable precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of information you give us. We have a Data Protection regime in place to oversee the effective and secure processing of your personal data
Your information will be retained by us until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive any information and/or are no longer a member.
